Brady Shines on Monday Night; Beats Texans

December 11, 2012

Before kickoff, it was thought to be one of the most anticipated Monday Night Football games of all time.  Little did they know Tom Brady had plans to play out of his mind and make it one of the least exciting games of the season.

Brady threw for 296 yards with 4 touchdowns and no interceptions in the 42-14 rout of the Houston Texans, who at the time were 11-1 with the best record in the league.

The game started out fast with Brady slinging deep balls and capitalizing on the Texans mistakes.  They jumped out to a lead in the first few minutes and never looked back, scoring 28 points before the Texans could score a touchdown of their own.

Needless to say, Tom Brady and his playoff bound Patriots were ready for the call of duty.

“It’s a Monday night game,” Brady said. “We have played in a lot of big games in December.”

“These guys feel really good about the way they played tonight and they should,” coach Bill Belichick said.

The Patriots look to improve to 11-3 with a win over the 49ers on Sunday night.
